Bomke’s Patch boasts 12 acres of trees…that’s around 12,000 Christmas trees! Whether you’re feeling adventurous and want to cut your own from our U-pick patch, or look through our pre-cut section, our farm offers some of the most beautiful fir Christmas trees in the area. Each tree is hand pruned every year in an effort to shape our trees into the quintessential Christmas tree. If you plan to pick your special tree from our patch, follow the steps listed below!

*Note: Additional cut-top fee of $12 or more will apply for those that leave more than 5 inches from the ground when cutting down the tree, or cut the tops out of trees in an effort to reduce tree height prior to Bomke’s Patch measuring your tree.
STEP 1
Check in at the front ticket booth. If you plan to choose a u-pick tree, you’ll grab what you need here before heading out to the patch! If you are cutting the tree yourself: you will sign a waiver, and we will provide you with a bow saw, sheet of plastic (to protect you from getting wet/muddy while cutting), a measuring stick, and a tree cart or sled as available.
STEP 2
Head on out into the patch, pick the tree that is JUST RIGHT (be sure to measure your tree to ensure it will fit in your home), and cut it down! If you are unable to cut the tree yourself, we will offer assistance with cutting your tree down.
STEP 3
After your tree is cut, you will load up the tree and bring it up to the tagging station. We will not offer “haul up” service with our ATVs like in years past. Guests will use tree carts or sleds provided by Bomke’s Patch to haul the tree up. Here, at the tagging station, we will re-measure your tree and tag it.
STEP 4
Deliver your tree to our bagging and shaking barn. This is where we take over! We will put a fresh cut on the trunk of your tree, shake it, and bag it for you! While we do this, you are welcome to head to the barn to warm up, have a complimentary bag of popcorn, and check out all the barn has to offer! Here, you can also purchase our tie-down service, where we secure the tree to your vehicle for you. For just a $10 fee, we do all the work! For those who wish to tie the tree down themselves, we offer free twine.
